# Role Levels

# Guide

Role Levels are custom roles that can be created and configured with a custom set of permissions for players to use. Each permission is now able to be separated, allowing for more control over your group.

# Creating Role Levels

# 1. Navigate to Role Level Settings

Run the /settings command to create or manage existing role levels.
Click on the Role Levels option in the settings menu.

# 2. Create a Role Level

Press button.

# 3. Configure the Details

Name your Role Level - This can be any alphanumeric string with hyphens or underscores.
Add a Description - Any text to hint at what this role is for

Ranking Range
The ranking range determines what range of ranks this role will have permissions to manage.
You set both the minimum and maximum ranking range to add this configuration.
Eg: Min: 30, Max: 100 [30-100]

# 4. Choose your Access Role

Choose a Discord role that will be granted these permissions when given to a user.

# 5. Choose your Permissions

Choose from a list of permissions that you wish to grant this role.

Name Description
🔐 Direct Ranking Directly ranks users, and manages ranking requests
🔒 Ranking Requests Can send ranking requests
🔫 Exile Access Can exile users from the group
🎖️ Medal Access Can give and take medals
💎 Xp Access Can manage xp requests and manage the xp of others
🏵️ Xp Requests Can send xp requests
📅 Events Admin Can create and manage all events
📆 Events Access Can only create and manage their own events
📢 Change Shout Changes the group shout
👨💻 Join Requests Admin Can manage join requests
🧑💼 Join Requests Access Can only send requests to manage join requests
🔒 Administrator Override all permissions

# 6. Finalize

You're done, review the permissions that may have been optimized by Soldier.

# 💎 Premium

Normal users cannot create role levels.
The Soldier Commander tier allows for up to 15 role levels.
