# Guide

The /setup command is likely the first which you will run when using Soldier.
This guide comprehensively covers the setup process and the options available to you.

# 1. Run the command

There are 2 options:

Direct Ranking - Basic configuration, users can be ranked directly by others
Rank Requesting - Advanced configuration, permissions can be configured for specific users

# 2. Enter your Group ID

Enter the ID of your group.
This can be found in the url on the group page.

You must be of a rank 250 or higher to set up a group.

# 3. Select Configuration Options

Open the select menu, and choose a configuration to set.
Once you configure all options, the prompt will continue.

Direct Ranking - Does not have ranking request options:

Ranking Requester Roles
Ranking Requests Channel

# 4. Confirm Setup

Once you press the accept button, the setup will be complete.
